Samuel C. Kim, M.D. is a board-certified retina specialist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery, including conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, vascular diseases, uveitis, and retinal detachments. Dr. Kim has completed a fellowship in Vitreoretinal diseases and surgical training at the combined Retina Group of Washington / Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center, a fellowship known to be one of the top clinical and highest surgical volume programs in the country

Dr. Kim is looking forward to providing his patients with the highest quality of surgical and clinical care to patients in the Inland Empire and beyond.

Dr. Kim is an internationally experienced doctor, actively involved in medical missions in Kenya, Zambia and China.

Dr. Kim has been published in multiple journals and has presented at many national meetings including at the annual meetings of American Society of Retinal Specialists. He is actively involved in research and is a Principal Investigator for many national clinical trials through Loma Linda University, including the Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research, and is a sub-investigator of numerous other clinical research trials. He serves as an active assistant professor at Loma Linda University and at the Riverside University Health Sciences.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists and the Christian Ophthalmology Society.

Dr. Kim is fluent in English, Korean, and medical Spanish.
