I had cataract surgery on December 19. Dr. Saucido-Sanchez was phenomenal with my very advanced cataract successful removal. I had light sedation and no pain after the surgery at all. I will be having my other eye also done in the New Year with her. She puts you at ease with her bedside manner and competency. I went in for 4-month post cataract surgery. My vision was not as good as it was in my previous post-op appointment. Seems I had film built up on my lens. They scheduled me for a minor laser procedure the same day. I will go in again in two weeks to get the second eye treated. Today, I can see much clearer. I have been going to Dr. Roeske since 2011. He is very attentive to the patients and gives recommendations based on their situation. He has newest technology in refractive surgery. I had both my cataracts removed with no issues and didn’t have to wear prescription glasses for reading. Dr. Roeske has seen my husband to monitor his cataract progression for over 8 years. Then, he did the surgery in both eyes in 2 sessions using the special lenses we purchased that are custom, better grade. Super outcome, no glasses needed years later. So, now I went. His staff performed several different tests. Then Dr Roeske checked me, said very small, not even worth mentioning. Other doctors might have lied; Dr. R tells the truth always. Professional staff, nice. Dr. Roeske so polite, explained everything, so cheerful. Always positive attitude. That’s why I insist on NO ONE BUT HIM. Battled my PCP for 2 months to get the referral. I procrastinated my first cataract surgery, the cataract in my right eye had grown into what is known as a supercataract. It was so bad that I was blind in that eye. For the past week, I had the good fortune to once again seek the healing powers of a doctor, Richmond Roeske, whom I have the highest regard as a human being. Ten years ago, at the age of 65, I was told at an eye clinic in Glendora, California that I had an “inoperable cataract” in my left eye. And that I had waited too long to have it operated on. That I would be completely blind in that eye for the rest of my life. Well after that I had the good fortune for a friend to recommend Dr. Roeske for a second opinion. I was very pleased with his much more favorable prognosis, and now, after 10 years of enjoying near perfect eyesight, without glasses, I can say that Dr. Roeske is the everlasting hero of my life. I have to wonder at the alignment of the stars on the day that this wonderful man was born. My cataracts removed in both eyes last year, I cannot give enough praise to Dr. Bakhtiary, his staff and facility. I was treated in a timely and professional manner from the pre op phase, thru the surgeries as well as the post operative follow up. He is continuing to care for me as I developed Posterior Capsular Opacification and am scheduled to undergo YAG laser treatment. I feel totally at ease and know that he is more than competent to perform this procedure and have no doubts whatsoever that the desired outcome with occur.
