Please welcome, Dr. Kellie Satterfield as our newest oculofacial plastic surgeon at Pacific Eye Institute.

Dr. Kellie Satterfield is a highly accomplished, board-certified, fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, bringing a wealth of experience to our practice.

Dr. Satterfield’s expertise includes various aspects of oculoplastic surgery, including facial cosmetics, eyelid malposition correction, blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, eyelid skin cancer treatment with MOHS reconstruction, facial trauma reconstruction, and ocular tearing management. Additionally, she offers advanced cometic treatments such as facial fat transfer, scar revision, neurotoxins (Botox), fillers, and chemical peels.

Her holistic approach to facial rejuvenation ensures that every patient receives personalized care that suits their unique needs and lifestyle. Dr. Satterfield believes in tailoring every treatment to the unique needs and anatomy of her patients, ensuring that their experience at Pacific Eye Institute is nothing short of exceptional.

Dr. Satterfield holds a Doctorate from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, where she received numerous honors and awards, including the Merck Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, a distinction presented to the top medical students in each graduating class.

She completed her rigorous Ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington and is a board-certified ophthalmologist accredited by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Following her residency, Dr. Satterfield dedicated two additional years to intensive training in Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery through a competitive fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Satterfield has contributed to the field with her published articles and book chapters, presentations at national and international conferences, and a commitment to staying current with cutting-edge aesthetic technologies and surgical techniques. She is excited to collaborate with you on a personalized care plan aimed at achieving the best possible cosmetic results.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Satterfield leads a vibrant personal life filled with diverse interests. She derives joy from activities such as beach volleyball, painting, gardening, yoga, and exploring the captivating city of San Diego alongside her husband, their dog Rudy, and cherished friends and family.
